I loved the last book, but I think the biggest flaw of the book is that the entire story is rushed. Everything happens too quickly. I think Eion Colfer should have spend more on the book and elaborated some aspects more, for example Artemis's death was so quick. He died and suddenly it's six months later. I would have liked if they showed what happend directly after that scene, things like his family's reaction and such.

Artemis is dead. His clone, like you said, is a farce. It's not him. It's artemis's memories and intelectual knowledge that made him Artemis Fowl. Now that all that has been taken from him, he is just a normal boy clone that looks like Artemis. Colfer should have just left Artemis dead. Let Artemis die with dignity rather than bring him back as an empty clone that will never be the same again.

It was a good book even with it's flaws. I think Colfer could have put more effort into it. If it wasnt the last book, I might have overlooked allot of these plotholes but the fact is that I feel Colfer rushed this book just to finish off the series. This makes me sad.

I didnt mind that their was no romance between Artemis and Holly since I see them more as friends than an actual couple. Artemis is one of those characters who I never felt a need to pair with anyone romatically. I dont see artemis as the lovey-dovey type. I keep feeling that if Colfer paired them up in the series, the series would have lost it's impact. Romance, in most cases, ruins stories.

You wrote a good review. You were honest and it was well written. :) This deserves a fav
